In 1983 the liquor store at the corner of Washington and Weinbach opened as Winetree. Along with that new name came a focus on the very best of wines, spirits and beers and a dedication to excellence in selection and service. Over the years, The Winetree has grown and expanded to better serve the Evansville area. In the spring of 1997, we opened our Winetree Darmstadt location at the corner of Boonville-New Harmony and Darmstadt road.

Our history in the community for dedication, knowledge, service, and honest hard work has grown The Winetree into the Tri-State's number one choice for quality, hard to find, wines, spirits, champagnes, and beers from all over the world. We have also enjoyed sharing many local events, charity fundraisers and educational experiences with the Tri-State
